Co-President Brilliant Sun Wellness
Hello! I’m Kimberlee Aubrey and I practice both yoga and meditation to stay connected with and aware of myself, others, and the world we share.
I believe breath is the foundation of practice. Each of us brings our own personal experience, a unique body, and heart- mind to our mat, but we are all universally intertwined by our breath.
My teaching precepts include:
- Acceptance of differences
- Approaching with compassion
- Openness to continual learning
- Understanding that teacher/student roles often overlap
- Safe, judgement free space
- Mindful awareness & presence
- Non-attachment to rigid outcomes
- Laughter is an accepted and welcome part of practice
I seek to help each person connect to their own boundless breath energy, body, heart-mind, and inner being, and to the divinity that comes with joining together through personal yoga and meditation practice.
I hope you will join me on your mat!

I am a graduate from the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Om Prana Yoga of Parkville, MO. I feel that Yoga encourages connection between breath and movement, body and spirit, and reinforces unity with one’s self, the community, and the Earth. In my classes, I encourage my students to bring themselves into the present moment with a smile, encouraging a practice of “now” while leaving past and future worries at the door. An avid fan of meditation and many practices of Yoga, I like to teach styles influenced by Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, and Restorative with a meditative focus. I am always open to learning new methods and practices to further both my teaching and personal practice.
